* The Black Mask (Roman Sionis) The crime boss king of Gotham city, in charge of a group of powerful outsiders. He represents the criminal element of society. A common man, who possesses no natural superhuman abilities. However, he is a master criminal strategist with vast amount of resources.

* Black Adam (Teth-Adam)The ancient Egyptian prince named, who is chosen by the wizard Shazam to be his successor. Now corrupted by the vastness of his powers. He represents the physical element of stregnth in the Society.

* Lex Luthor is described as "a power-mad, evil scientific mind" of incredible technological prowess, who's goals typically center towards world domination. Now a fugitive from the law, the human entrepreneur seeks to also restore his social standings. Periodically wears a powered exoskeleton
suit in wake of war.

* Circe The powerful sorceress, represents the mystical/non-scientific side of the Society.

* Ocean Master (Orm Marius) desires the throne of Atlantis. Master of magical manipulation and can utilise it for many effects including magical bolts and telepathy, also uses a magical trident as a focus for his power.

* Brainiac (Vril Dox) Brainiac is brought to a top-secret military base, where the imprisoned Lex Luthor is assigned to discover his secrets. Luthor eventually manages to use Brainiac's connection to his ship to kill the soldiers assigned to watch him. Brainiac manages to free himself from Luthor's control, forcing him onboard the ship, and the two make their escape. The two have entered into an alliance, with Brainiac promising Luthor the Earth when he is done with it.

* Batman (Bruce Wayne) He repesents the common man, as he possesses no natural superhuman abilities.

* Captain Atom (Nathaniel Christopher Adam) He represents the JLA type of hero, one who understands and appreciates that a hero can work with the government, rather than outside of it.

* Wonder Woman (Princess Diana of Themyscira) Represents the all-female tribe of Amazons.

* Aquaman (Arthur Curry) represents the oceans as there ruler.

* Etrigan (Jason Blood) speaks for the mystical/non-scientific side of the Dc universe. Has very high command of magical powers, plus a strong pysical presence.

* The Atom (Ray Palmer) represents the science-based part of the superhero community.
