But there is no evidence that he can direct that kind of energy directly/offensively. We'll have to see more.

From what we saw, Brainiac was physically above Superman level when connected to his ship, plus he's got a ship that can fire star-destroying weapons, and has a bunch of drones that can hurt (even kill) normal Kryptonians. Maybe with prep he could find a way to defeat Odin -- guys like Reed Richards and Dr. Doom regularly defeat cosmics -- but just from what we've been shown, I don't think one could reach the conclusion that he could defeat someone of Odin's stature.
