Aren't the furies the same ladies who give Superman trouble?

I've seen them do fairly well against Wonder Woman and Big Barda. I remember reading that one of them was about to kill Barda, when they comfronted her in Superman/Batman (Supergirl). If it wasn't for Diana she would have been dead. Morever, they captured Supergirl and killed her friend (can't remember her name).Anyway, the furies were trained by Barda to kill in hand to hand combat, weapons, etc. They're ruthless, and above all else evil. If Sue is able to defeat all of them, then the fantastic four takes the victory. If not the Furies, but sheer numbers will overwhelm the heroes.

Yea, collectively specially they give good fights to Superman, Orion, Firestorm, yadda yadda.

Their individual levels vary but some are pretty darn powerful.

Knockout was a Superboy foe and iirc stronger than Conner.

I just asked the question, because many forget who they've faced. But, thanks for noticing. smile

Your right, I forgot they wen't up against Firestorm a couple of years ago. I have to reread those issues, to remember how the fight went. If i'm not mistaken they had the advantage up until Orion showed up.

I mean, she basically started a speed blitz in the US and then rammed into them in Greece and then engaged all of them at once in h2h.

Stompa was the one to put her down, but she still made everybody work for it.
