Wonder Woman, faster and more versatile.

I say Maxam. The dude OUTWRESTLED Hercules (the dude with thousands of years of expericence) and have one-shotted Wonderman.
Diana can win, but when Maxam will connect, it'll hurt.

It'll hurt, sure, but her blows will hurt too and she has plenty of advantages, like if she can get the lasso around him she can slam him around and/or restrain him, the tiara blade, and her bracers can void even really strong punches.
No doubt that Maxam's a very tough foe but I still see Diana taking a solid majority.

Maxam might have the strength edge, but that's it. Wonder Woman takes it an actual fight.
Being stronger doesn't mean you win. Still, it wouldn't be in Diana's best interest to try and fight him toe to toe.
Maxam was formidable. That makes Thor owning him with Drax simply more impressive.
