I assume the thing is about whose animal telepathy would prevail, lizard's control over aquaman's reptilian brain or aquaman's control over lizard's fish brain. Aquaman has the better telepathic feats out of the two. He'd destroy lizard physically as well, of course.
not sure how it stacks up, but Lizard was able to turn an entire swamp full of animals against spider-man with his TP, including Man-Thing, who is entirely plant matter...

not that mind controlling MT is a big deal, most psychics/mages have little difficulty, though full on possession tends to be a mixed bag. However afaik, and I don't know much tbh, it is a high end feat for lizard. If nothing else, its an entire swamp
