All which was Fantomex's misdirect and Gorgon gets capped in the back of the head while he believes he is flying away in Fantomex's saucer.

Ah but that turns out to be a missdirect within a missdirect and EVA enters gorgon's mouth then expands making him explode while he believes he is merely getting capped in the back of the head.

or gorgon just chops off his head before fantomex can even try misdirecting him.

It's like an early script for Inception.

fat chance leo. gorgon would have to start on top of FM to pull that off, he better stick to his only ranged option and go for it from the get go, however FM can close his eyes and use EVA to see through her point of view thus avoiding eye contact.

Is Fantomex able to misdirect Gorgon when he can't see him?

yeah yeah... if he looked through eva (and gorgon looked at eva) wouldn't eva be turned to stone? it is organic, right?

or what if gorgon knew that misdirection was f's biggest threat (wasn't sure if it was common knowledge)? would it be more effective to keep his blindfold on? does gorgon need to SEE the misdirection for it to work? if he does, not sure how f would win this against a blindfolded gorgon....

That "blindfold" works like Spider-Man's mask, I'm pretty sure.

"Common knowledge" is what general populace of universe knows about the character, if I'm not mistaken. For example it's common knowledge that Superman can fly... but not that he is vulnerable to red sun radiation...

i think it's technorganic. wouldnt bet on it working, specially since it lacks proper eyes for eye contact.

missdirect works directly on the mind and the sense pf reality, so it would presumably fool his other senses. perhaps fantomex would blunder and project a visual hallucination, not knowing that gorgon fights blind, and so gorgon would know the jig was up, but I'm skeptical.

Yeah it is. Phobos(Ares' Son) tried to use his fear powers on him in Secret Warriors. But Gorgon stated he feared nothing since he'd died before.

so... is missdirection common knowledge? problem with the rule is actually that the general populace of earth doesnt even know fantomex exists, even the superhuman populace barely knows of him. then again, the same goes for gorgon, although his profile is higher given his association with the hand and hydra

Pretty sure it's not.
