Tony's only chance would be to develop some type of psi-defense capable of blocking Max's TP. And tbh, I'm not entirely sure if he could do that (ie. there's really no evidence that he could block TP of that magnitude)- but much like Reed, Tony always seems to get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to whipping up uber tech. /shrug
