Can we use the EU?
Because a Death Star beam was capable of destroying the Sun Crusher, and that thing was designed to be indestructible to withstand the super novas it created.

Expanded Universe.
Ego is still what I'd consider to be safely above and beyond the Death Star, though.

Expanded Universe. Books and comics and stuff.
May as well include it, because this threads getting locked once the mods notice it anyways.

Thor beat him with storms and such. Yeah, it's Thor, but if Ego is that durable, it should take more than his weather effects.

Cyborg Death Star wins. How would Ego defend himself from a planet busting beam attack?

And given this is Henshaw we're talking about, he'll likely amp the beam.
By redirecting it's power supplies into attacks, as he won't need life support functions and such, and because Henshaw's base powers can stagger Superman, and he's been known to create big attacks merely from tapping into planetary body level power supplies, let alone one that comes packaged with its own super laser..

The "good showing" was non canon and who hasn't looked good vs Galactus?
