Minion already took down an X-team with Logan and Betsy on it. Without misdirection, this team offers nothing to make the match any more interesting.

Minion took down the team but it was Wolverine who stalled him by himself when he arrived to save the day.

Wolverine alone would distract minion from the rest of the X-men

Wolverine would lose horribly. He cut off Minion's arm and Minion was like "lul, that's it?" and reformed it in a single panel. He's a Class 100 badass with dozens of trained fighters in his cranium, and actually broke adamantium at one point (though it was implied that it wasn't primary adamantium, so...). He'd gut Logan, throw him a couple miles away, heal instantly from whatever damage he took, and let Logan heal up while KO'd and Minion does other things. Wolverine would get in some shots and wouldn't be killed by Minion, but he also poses no threat.
