no... have to disagree there. Deathspores can and will kill both heller and McGrath. McGrath dies the minute he inhales them Heller lasts a while but he'll eventually succumb.
What he says..as Alex said Heller is beyond death now[SPOILER - highlight to read]: since James absorbed Mercer and a shit load of other evolved and 3 goliaths he is well above what Alex used to be.
congrats for the living virus. Doesn't change the fact that the second he tries to absorb 1 he dies. Best case scenario. Nothing happens. Worst case scenario and highly more likely the immune system of the HF people treats him the same way they do any other disease and completely eradicates him on contact.
Hahahahaha. You really think their HF's are strong enough to counter Heller if he absorbs them? Have you played the game? At the end he absorbs an entire city in moments. He's literally beyond life and death; not hyperbole, fact. There's no way they can win this.
I just think its a bad matchup for Heller no offense. Between Deathspores and an immune response that literally makes them immune to any disease to date or at least makes it so that they recover really damn quick. I mean Sabretooth has his showing agains Plague before she became a horseman when he was hunting down the Morlocks. IIRC wolverine when Polaris was pestilance and was eating viruses left and right to create a supervirus. I'm sure there are many others as well that I'm not recalling off the top of my head.
Deathspores would do nothing, as he's not even alive in the traditional sense.
And seriously, they wouldn't be able to stop a virus of that magnitude if he decided to try and absorb them. And if he did, it would more than likely be after he beat them to unconsciousness/death(For Red since he has no Adamantium)
Bad matchup for Heller?He beats building sized monsters rips tanks apart with ease in the begining of the game Mercer flips over a tank with one hand cause there is a soldier under it and the tank flies about 2 blocks away.James is easily class 100 or above not to mention in P1 Alex easily adopdted to a virus that was meant to kill him.
... Completely different healing factor basis... One requires some type of fuel i.e. the crow after alex got nuked. The regenerators pull it from hammerspace. Also you've posted nothing to suggest that deathspores wouldn't effect Heller. Beyond life or death... please. Blackwatch developed a "cure" for the virus which was shown to be relatively effective. Deathspores turn the dials to 11 in terms of lethality to just about anything organic.
The one and only time any outside assistance appeared to be needed was after Mercer got nuked. And even then, he was conscious and well enough to reach out and grab the crow in the first place. And if Wolverine has stood up to the Deathspores, Heller can because his HF is so much higher. Wolverine wouldn't respawn from atomization by nuke, none of them would.
He can absorb them if he chooses to, they've been assimilated and such by less. Deathspored won't kill him. And he doesn't have to absorb them anyway. Beat them to ko/death, or BFR. And this is forgetting that Cole has Ice/Fire/Lightning powers all at high levels.
Wolverine has been nuked. Twice. And he didn't wait around as puddle of soup until something biological came around for him to absorb. Wolverine has a significantly more powerful healing factor than Mercer or Heller.
The second part of your post is you completely talking out of your ass. None of these guys have been "assimilated and such by less" if they had then they would no longer be around. Spore tried to absorb Wolverine and failed, and it was much more powerful than Heller is, hell it took the Celestials to beat it the first time around.
