Ultimatly, it's Doom

Hum.. Probably split. Silver Surfer is the only being that won against Thanos in a battle of willpower, thus, proving that he's not unbeatable. But it's not a low feat by any means, Surfer is a beast.

He was able to store the energy due to storing massive amouts, but when he jumped into the naked energies he used his willpower to master it.(Thanos stated all of this on panel)
