Thanos has access to his regular tech , and a cosmic cube , along with some assistance from Mistress Death . Beyond this he isn't allowed to have any additional prep or resources .
Mikaboshi is at the highest power-level he was shown to be at during Chaos War .
Fight takes place in 616 and is until one of them goes comatose .
assistance from death as in what exactly? make him unkillable? if so, we have to consider who has more authority, death or CK. Based on statements, death is one of the 3 heads of LT so technically, she should have more authority than CK, but based on feats CK has better. Two universal powers ultimately lose against multiversal.
^ Even Thanos didn't fully adjust to the cube's power after he became one with the universe. He used it to its full potential, but hadn't gotten used to his omnipotent state.
Also, apart from the multiversal claims the CK had, Hercules (who later restored the whole universe/multiverse) wasn't able to defeat the chaos king on his own, what has Cosmic Cube Thanos by himself (without needing any assistance) done to suggest that he can take CK? Because all i recall for Thanos, is universal power (don't reference high cube feats outside the story).
Destroying/absorbing 98.76% of the multiverse(and that was as of Chaos War #4) is superior to gaining universal oneness with a CCU, by a nigh-infinite margin-- and I don't think a 'Death-amp' would sway things that much... /shrug

^ to be fair, we should take into account that Thanos merged with the universe instantly, as opposed to CK's feat. Still, id definitely say CK's is superior. And i consider Hercules unable to defeat CK, is superior to anything Thanos has done as well.
