The rest factor only should be relevant by the time he gets to Stewart. He'd decisively beat him, mind you, but John might be able to get some good attacks in before losing. Sinestro is the first "elite" that should give him pause, especially considering his raw power rivals Hal and his ingenuity and finesse with the ring, imo, blows him out of the water.
