Vulcan drains Shaw out of his shell. Thanos beats the tar out of Sinestro in such a horrendous manner that every yellow ring leaves their masters and choose the Mad Titan. Thanos' Corps gonna take those yellow rings from the Sinestro Corps like they're dealing with babies.
Sinestro would get his shit pushed in by Thor, Hulk, Rulk, and that entire group. Sinestro can't even handle Mongul and you think he would beat Thanos? Come now, Sinestro had to use his skills over the Yellow Rings to beat Mongul. Mongul over powered him. Thanos would overpower this chump and twist his head off his body as if Sinestro was a Pepsi bottle.

Yeah, the same mongul was taking on six elite lanterns including sodam yat and handing them their asses. He would stomp hulk, bendis thor (who did nothing but getting owned and oneshotted) and bendis rulk (choked out like a ***** by wonder man). Sinestro surviving against him isn't a bad feat. Sinestro's arrows>>hawkeye's arrows. That scan only showed him grabbing hulk and thing by their necks and slamming them after blasting them. Superboy did that to supergirl and power girl. Nothing impressive.
Sinestro and those six Lanterns survived Mongul so what's your point? How does what you say prove he'll beat Thanos? Being a punching bag for Mongul and Hal means he's just a punching bag for Thanos. Great, Sinestro ain't Superboy. In fact, all that says is Superboy would wreck Sinestro too which we all knew. When Sinestro fights the six Lanterns at the same time or manhandles bricks like Sboy does, you'll have a point that he could beat Thanos. At this rate, Thanos murders him.

Lolz, Sinestro surviving Mongul's beating means just that. He survived. So did six other guys. So basically what you're saying is Sinestro will survive a beat down by Thanos because Mongul, in your opinion, is more powerful than Thanos? Had he not exploited his power over the yellow ring, Mongul would've killed him. Thanos wrecks him in a fight. The guy treats Surfer and Thor like children.
Oh please, he got a terrible beat down by Mongul. His faced punched in by Hal Jordan. Weaponer? What about him? Thanos knocked Galactus out of his ship. Wrecked Lord Mar-Vell who casually owned Surfer. Nova Prime, and killed Adam Magus with a gesture. Went toe to toe with Tyrant. Beat an insane Cube Being and mindraped her. Weaponer who?
So both were on equal terms and Hal's out punched him. Sinestro lacks in that department and that's why a skilled fighter like Thanos would wreck him. Lol, merely unbalancing? He didn't punch either of them. He backed hand both like they were kids. Letsee Jordan or Sinestro back hand bricks on that level of strength. Thanos wrecks him.

He survived and later beat the shit out of mongul. Thanos would get turned to pin cushion like hawkeye made him. Mongul wasn't beating one of them repeatedly. No, mongul with rings is more powerful than thanos and sinestro would turn thanos into a pin-cushion. He tried, and failed. No. So much treating like children that he suckershots one of them like a coward and takes 9 shots to almost kill Ron Marz's "glass jaw" surfer.
That's the same writer who had Thor oneshot surfer after BRB beat the shit out of him. That's what you call treating someone like a child. Under the same writer a random alien proved more formidable than surfer
Treating thor like a child? That has never happened other than one time, thor on the other hand has stalemated thanos many times in pure test of strength like this

Thanos got his face punched in by vision. Thanos got his tooth knocked out by captain america while at full power. Sinestro was depowered and hal was assisted by kyle. See for yourself, this same weaponer wrecked ganthet, kyle, john, sora, boodikka, soranik, and hannu and sinestro casually owned him.
Oh and the last scan doesn't prove that thanos absorbed the power of the orb in himself. This is how thanos did against a weakened and mind-controlled Morg one issue prior
