Had a interesting conversation with a Loki fan boy in regards to the characters in the avengers movie. It mostly revolved around the conversation prior to the climatic battle of the end of the movie and what would the results be if Loki (with spear) and ironman (in his freshly worn armor) would fight it out just between the two of them.
No time limit and no backup.
He waited for Thor to drop his guard, stabbed him, and got away. Not really a legit win.
That said, Loki took the Bifrost explosion backlash at point blank range to say nothing of all the kinds of attacks he endured in the Avengers. Given his illusion casting ability, short range teleporting, and ranged offense, this is his fight to lose.
Yes, my point exactly, I wouldnt count that as a win for Loki over Thor in the least. Yes Iron Man couldnt beat Thor, but weve seen a few times now Loki cant either.
