Michael Holt is on vacation in New York City. Tired of hearing after J Jonah Jameson constant printing negative articles of Spider Man that's he a menace which he thinks J Jonah Jameson does because he's envious of Spider Man, or he's a negative bitter resentful cynic.
Mr.Terrific living up to the name Fairplay on the sleeves of his jacket shown on tv gives a challenge to J Jonah Jameson that he'll give him 6 weeks to prepare for a specefic contest if he accepts which he names all of what is involved in the contest.
One Lap around a High School Track in New York City, Basketball the first to 18 points wins 2 points for each basket over the 3 point line, Soccer both get five shots in a tie both would get single shots which continues until one fails to score and the other doesn't.
MMA in a Octagon in Madison Square Garden. The same rules as other MMA fights.
If Mr.Terrific won he says J Jonah Jameson would have to stop trying to get people to think Spider Man is a menace including but not limited to the Daily Bugle, his mouth, the Internet, etc.
He has to Apologize to Spider Man for all the negative articles he has printed about him, and all times he has said something bad about him.
If Mr.Terrific loses he says he would do what J Jonah Jameson tells him to do as long as it's not illegal, or immoral.

Part of the whole Mr. Terrific thing is being able to pick up any skill. In order for JJJ to have any chance, you'd need to (1) pick something Holt doesn't know. (2) Give JJJ weeks to train. (3) Require Michael to sit on the coach and eat ho-hos during that period instead of training.
Mr. Terrific's a black olympian entrepreneur who's served as the leader and face of the all-american JSA. I think he's not exactly lacking in PR skills.
