Who will win between dc scrarecrow and green goblin? Can the scrarecrow fear gas affect green goblin and also can the green goblin gas affect the scarecrow?
so, clearly then, you have feats of SC developing a chemical akin to the Goblin Serum? He has invented a wide range of weapons and gliders? He has created chemicals with the ability to neutralize powers?
I haven't seen SC run a corporation, or SHIELD, or manipulate his way into those types of positions of power...
and ya... Spider-Man is considerably more threatening than Batman...
Even before recent "wankage" - assuming you're referring to Osborn's rise to power post Secret Invasion - the dude was described as a genius who developed his own weapons and chemicals since the Stan Lee days. Crane would get his shit pushed in and Osborn would honestly fair better against Batman than Crane would, both in direct conflicts and prep/strategy wise.
He was already scheming and in control of SHIELD/HAMMER/Thunderbolts before he donned the Iron Patriot armor. In fact, most of his best feats are him outside of the armor anyway.
Osborn is an expert chemist himself. And as the Goblin has vastly superior ranged capabilities. Not to mention he could literally kill Crane in one punch. You'd be hard pressed to come up with a scenario in which Osborn loses outside of giving Crane ridiculously one sided prep time and giving Osborn none and having Crane ambush him.
In other words lets focus on that one part and ignore the rest of his (pretty impressive) history?
BTW Osborn only lost in that Death of Sentry comic because the Goblin persona set him up for a fail, it was addressed later.
