Shaw's absorption has higher end feats, but North has the corrosive blasts + touch which could give him the edge.

I agree. I can't say definitively how Zero's enzymes would affect Shaw, but I think comic book science is interesting enough to allow for the possibility. That and it's about the only avenue of attack worth discussing on North's behalf. I don't see him winning the absorption feat war.
