Everyone keeps putting BL characters in fights? They are killed by those who can weild the emotional spectrum(2x). Lobo can't, so it's one of those stalemate fights unless you count Lobo restraining Superman in arm/head/torso/leg lock for eternity
Not exactly true, a green ring with another color can disrpt them doesn't mean they are killed by that.
Out of curiosity though why CANT Lobo. A red Ring did seek him out for his rage and I'm pretty damn sure he'd qualify for a yellow one too ( can't think of too many who instill or inspire more fear than him).
The fact that his arrogance has meant he has CHOSEN NOT TO doesn't mean he can't, just want to point that out.
That's not entire true either. If you damage them quickly enough that they can't regenerate you can finish them. Isn't that how Mogo killed a few IIRC??
^ Mogo kept atomizing them perpetually in his core to keep them from reforming. Other than using GL light + another emotional spectrum, there are several ways of destroying BLs, but almost all of them involve energy attacks.
The only proven way Lobo could destroy BL Superman in this thread would be to steal his ring, become a BL himself and kill him. BLs can kill other BLs permanently, e.g., Superman Prime and Jericho. Lobo would probably figure that out eventually since he's functionally immortal.
Neither can die, which poses something of a problem.
but Lobo is actually a super genius, and we've seen Mr. Terrific create tech that killed Black Lanterns before. So at some point in this seemingly infinite stalemate, Lobo could use a clone to create some tech capable of killing Kal

he was dead, that was why he went to hell. there were a couple of others who had " died" but were alive who were able to influence and sought out by BL rings
