If CIS wasn't on, I suppose Daken could just pheromone bomb everyone.. It almost sounds like low level "Purple Man" mind control, at its best.. (On the other hand, Danny's chi protects him from poisons, radiation, cancer, and reverses mind control...)

Never let anyone else define you. Temugin goes hand to hand with ironman and rips his goddamn armor of with his bare hands, he takes Cap, both spiders and black panther together, hell Gorgon with a sword can take cap, both spiders and bp also - going by just his durability and speed from EoTS.

the fight is unfair because the heroes have too much source material, but if we take temugins average showings and gorgons based on what little he has, well they both have little tbh, then the case can be made for them to lose with dignity.
Even without his stare, Gorgon has Godkiller which is pretty much a one hit kill.
He's also fast enough to easily take out a blitzing speedster, and can predict team Cap's moves with his telepathy. He's like a much more dangerous Mr. X, and we all know how he took Logan down. He's also insanely durable and took a beating from Stonewall that would leave anyone else crumpled on the ground. Not only was he not hurt, he was pissed off and wanted to fight some more.
And Temugin as you said is essentially Mandarin without the rings mixed with some Shang Chi, and is powerful enough to school Iron Man armors without much problem. This is a much tougher fight for the heroes than people want to say.
He was disarmed in that his weapon was broken and he's never used it again thereafter. Might as well argue that Daken has his Muramasa claws and Spider-Man has his Iron Spidey outfit.
If Cap never used his shield again because it lay broken and was never repaired, we'd use a shieldless Cap as well.
