1. Both battle with no artifacts and amps: i.e no gems, C.C, I.G etc..
2. Warlock can use soul gem and Thanos power gem.

Thanos in both Drax was going to destroy Soul World which seemed to worry Adam and he only stopped Drax because Drax forgot he didn't have to breath.

Warlock has Thanos's number in a way that few do. I'd favor him in the latter.
Obviously Thanos in the former. Warlock is crafty, but the power gap is too large.
