Im not to sure about this GR either. I kniw when he is fully unleashed there is not many people that can hang with him. But RKT is above Odin by a decent margin. Hmmm
Im gonna have to read GRs respect forum on this god mode before I give my answer.
Because he's the one who took over heaven after taking the power of all ghost rider. And then usurped the power of God himself. He didn't achieve absolute omnipotence, because his power grew with time, but it's stated several times that he would have the power over all creation/existence in MU. Though he was beaten before he achieved omnipotence at the end of Heaven's on Fire arc (2010).
Are you essentially comparing an omniscient being with Rune King Thor? Because if that is the case I applaud you for a level of fanboyism previously unheard of in the known universe.
No. Im talking about how Marvel deals with "gods" and religion in general. Rune King Thor was just omnipotent I believe. Not even comparing them really.
Rune King Thor wasn't omnipotent, not sure where you're getting this from.
While in Ghost Rider they chose to portray Yahweh as being an omnipotent God, In other depictions, Yahweh is just another skyfather, and is not the omnipotent God.
Nah, that was the literal comic book artist "God" not Yahweh, who we saw in FF #511, the FF's Ultimate Guide handbook says: sketched out reality the same way a comic book artist would:
Hmm maybe I was mixing them up, wasn't there an arc where Yahweh (where Ghost Rider's power comes from) fully empowers Ghost Rider with his entire being? I remember Ghost Rider fighting and defeating entities like Mephisto, Dormammu, Shuma Gorath etc.
it wasn't until the 6th volume (#18) where it's said GR to be the wrath of God, an angel, which btw happened in the same volume where Zadkiel conquered heaven and then continued to usurp God and get defeated in Heaven's on fire.
And im pretty sure he never fought Shuma neither Dormammu, or Mephisto with Yahweh's full power.
He was asking whether they treated Yahweh as omnipotent in Fantastic Four, in which case it's a no (since it was TOAA and not Yahweh), TOAA is a different character.
