Also, Stark wins every time imo. Not really sure how this is much of a fight. Flight, massive versatility and long range attacks on top of stats that are easily on the same level as Aquaman. He's also flat out more powerful. Also doesn't hurt that Iron Man has experience with a more powerful Aquaman in Namor.

I've gotta agree.

Granted, Arthur can do some damage with the trident, but he'll have to get up close for that and Tony has a lot of options to prevent that from happening successfully.

It's funny because even though New 52 Aquaman has been nothing short of awesome, showing some people those comics actually pisses them off. I've had a couple of friends get downright irritated over the fact that Aquaman is not only competent but quite powerful.

It can be difficult to erase what was people's first memory of something. I've had the same happen and a friend was literally in awe that AQ wasn't a joke character.
