Delph's Going-Away Party
While I wasn't a part of the deliberations, I have it on good authority that Delph is getting a lengthy vacation from the forums. Good riddance. It may not have been the perm that I was hoping for, but my work here is as complete as it's going to be.
Several people have thanked me for recent developments, as though anything I might have done was for the benefit of the forums. I'm glad you were entertained. Now you can all go **** yourselves with socket wrenches while you continue to frequent this sh*tty backwater dump of a forum. My only regret is that I didn't realize this sooner, and wasted so much time to the mindless bickering and trolling that is basically the hallmark of KMC for the past 3-4 years.
And with that, I only have one last thing to say to all of you...

April Fools, Motherf*ckers
Alright, I lied. I have a ton more to say, so let's jump in:
1 - Yes we did
The first person who says "I called it" is getting banned. Because I'm sure a few of you suspected, especially the last day or two, but no one was calling it, and we got so many of you hook, line, and sinker. It was a thing of beauty to watch.
2 - Forum Cleanup
Everything I did is easily reversible. We should have the Comic Book Forum back to normal by day's end, for example.
3 - Delph
Dude is an absolute champion. Not only was he cool with being banned, but he was a great collaborator. For example, my racist vocabulary was spent after my first couple posts. Half the lines I was delivering were directly from him. He also hatched the idea to use the PMs to further fuel the hatred (yes, the PMs were fake). And he's been absolutely money about selling it believably.
4 - Mods
A big thanks to Bada, Backfire, Pr, Impediment, and Newjak for playing along. They each found a valuable role to play. My favorite was watching Bada wind everyone up, up to and including ban threats and finding increasingly-irrational ways to side with me.
5 - We Need to Go Deeper...
The original plan - from months and even years ago - was for me to be the one who was unjustly banned. But mods can't be banned, so we needed a new story. I knew that almost any feud that reached the levels I wanted it to would seem too unbelievable. So I needed a plausible antagonist, and we needed a back story that made sense with what just happened. So that's when I approached Delph...in July of 2013. Yes kids, the original fight between me and Delph was part of the setup. Welcome to a punchline months in the making.
6 - Lone Regret
I had a rule. All of my posts would either be against Delph specifically, or would be general enough that no one could take personal offense to it. I broke that rule once when I briefly went at Wei Phoenix for the sake of staying in character. Wei, you have my deepest apologies for something that was wholly undeserved.
7 - Catching Up
I've had to hold my tongue all week. So...
- Cap 2 was excellent, but hold your damn horses on everyone who's calling it the best superhero film ever. We over-glorify the recent too much here. It's in the conversation, a legit top 5 candidate. But several others have done just as well. My boy Spidey is about to egg Cap's face pretty soon anyway.
- A piece of my childhood died with Taker's streak, but anyone who knows wrestling and knew Taker, knew that he was going to go out on his back, the way that you're supposed to in the business. Now, the choice of opponent is the questionable aspect of this, which sucks. But ignore that loser Brock, and let's recognize that a legend decided to go out on his own terms.
- It's probably not a 10/10 scenario either way, but I'll happily concede a street fight or MMA fight to Delph due to size. My experience of actually being hit and fighting back may help me there as well, but I have no ground skills and would need to stay mobile. If I picked the stips, it would be either a boxing match or on a trampoline (I'm a f*cking ninja on trampolines, for reference), and I'd dominate either. Maybe not a KO in boxing, but certainly on points.
- If anyone's looking for a well-thought-out piece on current racial issues in society, or specifically in the media and on television, I'd highly recommend this article. Posting it this past week would have been too out of place, for obvious reasons.

9 - Discipline
With possible limited exceptions (I haven't followed everything), it's all been part of the act. That includes occasionally taking sides and antagonizing people. We didn't want anyone getting in legit trouble for a joke, so the slate is wiped clean for nearly everything. I would have been just as caustic toward someone saying the things I did, so no hard feelings. If the globals say anything to the contrary, though, their word goes.
That said, we can't allow continued anarchy, and it's obvious that the threshold for acceptable posts has been loosened somewhat in recent days. So hopefully we can slowly settle back into normal operating mode.
10 - AND FINALLY...
As the last step in my plan, Brucie has been given a 1-day ban for no particular reason, as thanks for everyone putting up with the chaos. Cheers!
