No powers (with the exception of Heroim), no weapons just brute strength, and durability H2H match.
I realize that there will be some that will argue about the order in which I place his opponents, so there is no particular order for this match (even though I did try to place them in order).
Who can he beat, who will beat him?
01. Mr. Hyde
02. Tiger Shark
03. Ares
04. Colossus
05. Ikaris
06. Heroim (Can amplify to old stone form)
07. Namor
08. Sasquatch
09. Wonder Man
10. Terrax
Terrax on low end would get raped.
Terrax on average would probably still lose.
Terrax written by capable writers would do well, though not much to say he'd definitively win.
Terrax under Marz would tear Aquaman in half.
Some may agree with you, some may not. I have yet to see everyone agree with a gauntlet placement. I did warn you in advance though. I also don't see Ikaris in the same light as other people in terms of pure physical might. Looking closer I'd actually place him just above Hyde, but that is due to Handbooks. Remember this is no powers, just a fist meets face gauntlet.
Lol...Ikaris just faced Namor along with Captain America and Human torch and it was clearly stated on panel that Namor (along with the others) couldn't do a thing to him (and Namor is the strongest on your list minus Ikaris). Hell...In the same comic he was compared to Thor. Why do you do this Stoic? I just don't get it.
Remove Captain America, and the Human Torch from the equation, and stop lying to yourself. The only one that mattered in that fight was Namor. Do you do this on purpose? I said Handbooks, which is where many writers get the who is stronger than who from. You are also taking one showing mixed with hyperbole and making it law. Rulk beat Ikaris if I am correct, and Simon trounced Rulk. You should look at the big picture before you release the BS bomb.
We don't use handbooks on KMC unless you truly believe Odin is a 75 tonner... and I am going by the LATEST showing. The latest showing, Namor couldn't even hurt Ikaris. With that said...Aquaman stops at the strongest one on the battle field which is top tier Ikaris.
Explain Red Hulk kicking his butt recently, and Simon kicking Red Hulk's butt. You're going to take one showing, and run all the way to the hills with it, only to find out a little up the road that things settle down a bit, and Ikaris drops back down to Namor levels. Ikaris is not a top tier, he isn't far off, but he isn't up there with the Surfer. Get used to it.
How is it ABC logic? You can't just take one showing, and forget about all of the others. That's what you call cherry picking to suit your preferences. You can call it what you want, but it doesn't change the fact that Red Hulk defeated Ikaris, and Simon turned around and beat Red Hulk uncontested.
You have the scans? From where I sat Ikaris lost the fight, because Red Hulk sure didn't. Taken in mind that I never said that it was a slaughter, but Red Hulk got the best of the fight. Also people seem to be hanging on the hyperbole written in that story that pretty much called Ikaris invincible. When before was he ever held in such high regard? And this is what I mean about people taking one showing, and trying to define a character with it. I hope that I'm not the only one that sees the ridiculousness in this train of thought.
He sure as hell didn't defeat Ikaris. He attempted a BFR that was shrugged off effortlessly. No one was even close to winning that fight.
As to the other point, it is valid, Ikaris is a poor example to use however as his recent appearance isn't particularily contradictory to his history. He's consistently been on the level of Thor, if slightly below him on that ladder. The showing I just posted doesn't contradict that at all either.
Wish I could read the photobucket mini pics. For some reason some of the scans come up tiny, while others can be enlarged. Oh well. Like I said from where I sat Red Hulk had the advantage, someone else may call it different. Meanwhile Simon had no problem putting him down. He didn't use magic, or reality warping, they just fought it out like Red hulk and Ikaris did. it's not a big deal, but I just think that people are giving him too much credit. It's as if he doesn't belong amongst the people in this gauntlet. I disagree. These are his peers. Thor and people on his level like the Surfer, Superman, Hulk, Hyperion, and others are above his pay grade. That's my opinion on it. if you think that he's higher, and others do as well, cool beans.
Wait a sec you believe that he is on Thor's level? Like I said that's your opinion. I don't see it, but you obviously do.

I strongly disagree and I'll think you'll find you are most definitely in the minority in that particular interpretation. You are welcome to your opinion however.
I said he's on the level but lower on the ladder. The ladder being the herald tier in this regard. He was shown as such in the issues of Thor he appeared in and his battles with Hercules, Red Hulk and the Invaders show he's more than deserving of the claim.
