Gonna go with team 2. Despero is the star on team 1 and can certainly beat anyone on team 2. Starro however can't and BW is the weak link. Not because of his TP attack capability ( which is easily MMH level if not above) but because he is sorely lacking in TP defense. The reason Hank went insane is he literally can't keep the minds of others out of his own, he always has thousands ( or more) minds going through his brain. This means he can't defend as well as the others. A two team ( which should happen quick on e hank falls) of any two of team 2 vs Despero should take it.
That's not what happened. In the REBELS Annual (between issues 8 and 9) Despero was the only one who used TP. When he went into Strarro's mind to show him his victories etc He was faced with he trillions of minds linked to Starro. Starro himself never overcame Despero at all telepathically and never even fought him telepathically. Once Despero "met the sea of minds" that was linked to despero his attack ceased and he was physically defeated.
The members of team two will not be overcome in the same way that Despero was in this encounter under those circumstances.
1. Brainiac has been linked to the Coluan computer core which is all minds on Colu.
2. MMH has also linked to every mind on Earth and used such a linke more than once in TP battle against other ( D'Kay comes to mind)
3. BW also has every mind for miles (and in one instance in Millenium the planet) inside his head at once.
The chatter of a trillion minds while intense wont have as great an effect on team two because they are more used to a sea of minds than Despero who is used to dominating all minds.
Starro had beaten Despero in a TP battle. Also he had enslaved 9 galaxies worth of minds, nobody here is surviving that many minds pressing down on them.
Despero has made J'onn his ***** TP wise several times, no need to think why he wouldn't get overwhelmed here.
