This is an odd one. Obviously Proteus + Destroyer is packing more raw power than Thanos, but Proteus isn't all there mentally.
I could have sworn there were instances of people forcing a person out of the Destroyer armor with a psychic/spiritual assault?
If that happens, and it's just Proteus vs Thanos, Thanos wins. Thanos has withstood high level reality warping and came through it no worse for wear.
