Apollo politely declines.
She says he has no choice, and proceeds to attack.
Thats all the prep the WFC have. No Authority back up, no BFR, can they stop the Viltrumite from having her way with Apollo?
Considering he wouldn't find her attractive at all, he'd likely die before mating with her.
A Pyrrhic victory, to be sure.
Which is to say, despite his labelling as a 'Superman level' being in the DCnU, I haven't seen anything from him that say he can contend in a fist fight with her.

But if i read it right, i kind of agree, and am thinking maybe Midnighter's scenario power could even things up some?
Just playing devil's advocate. The Viltrumites seem pretty powerful as a race.
