Are they battling as teams but connected like in the pictures? Like Superman and Sentry are locked at the hands helicoptering at team plant who are connected via Swamp Thing's arm and Man Thing's chest?

Man Thing gets shredded though unless his connection with ST powers him up.

I just liked the pictures, but they are teamed up well.

Also I would not say Man Thing gets shredded easily. As long he has connection to earth, he is pretty much instant Regen.

Man Thing vs Marvel Super Zombie is a good showing of this Regen. The Marvel Zombie Virus was transformed into a storm cloud that disintegrated any living matter with its rain. It also was able to turn 3 super beings into one super zombie as it's avatar. This cloud was so powerful that Hell Lord Hellstrom did not want to **** with it. Man Thing regen not only instantly regen any damage to him, but he also resisted the Marvel Zombie virus that claimed Wolverine, Silver Surfer, and Sentry!

As long Man Thing could touch the ground, he was impervious. Then when he was destroyed a piece of him touch the earth, and he resurrected himself anyway. Add to this he was able to use Empathy to force the Marvel Zombie Virus to feel fear for the Burning touch!

Man Thing fights Hell Lord Thog in a battle of collapse infinity. Beats Thog with Burning Touch.

Man Thing takes down D'Spayre. A fear lord. Take note that in this feat, Man thing was forced by D'Spayre to feel fear, yet survives his own touch. Testament to his own durability.

Man Thing Burning Touch wrecks King Hyperion.

There is many more feats of him easily fighting, and beating Savage Hulk. He is quite the contender with his regen, strength, Burning touch, Empathy Powers, control of plant life, immunity to most powerful magics, and teleportation as guardian of the Nexus.

You realize he lost badly to King Hype in the same arc you're using no?

Not sure how you think his fear touch is relevant though.

Not to mention KH was weakened by that radiation at that point too.

T2 should win.

Yeah, King Hyperion tried his best to put Man Thing down, and Failed. Not seeing the issue smile

He was laying on the ground for like the entire comic after KH tore him in half with what one HV blast?

I don't even need to go look at the comic to know he looked terrible there. Spin spin spin.

Green for the win.
Magic and Superman dont mix well. KH and Manny are roughly equal with an edge to Manny (and Swampy) for regen.
BFR (Nexus of reality) wasnt taken off the table...
Two physical powerhouses agains two who operate on more than physical realms.
This is team green's fight to lose. And i dont think they would.

Of course he was on the ground, the writer had to make Juggy and whats her face shine. Things is he was never put down, just reformed. He also has 20 more feats over that one of instant Regen too.

Like this.

http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/15...v204spiderm.jpg

Or physical attacks through him.

http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/4821/fear1916.jpg

http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/61...kungfu01907.jpg

http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/...nthing00708.jpg

Reforms through Hulks attacks.

http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/...lehulk42814.jpg
http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/...lehulk42815.jpg

Or atmosphere re entry.

http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/...anthing1403.jpg
http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/...anthing1411.jpg

Or even against Hell Fire of GR.

http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/...miere28pg13.jpg

He kinda molds around T-1000 style, and just reforms.

You just showed him turning to goo and resting there for moments from the heat of reentry...

I mean yes cool he can reform. Never denied that. He's just useless in this fight. At best he keeps reforming. At worst he gets destroyed in seconds. Not saying team Superman wins due to ST, but he isn't even really a nuisance. Unless the other team starts unexplainably feeling fear. Kad Mon with the staff would be a force though.

And yes using him putting down KH when he just sat there for the whole fight is questionable. Don't know how that can be spun another way. Lol at making Juggernaut shine though.

Then I guess we will agree to disagree. I showed Manthing taking on characters like D'spayre, Thog, Marvel Zombie Virus personified, and Hulk. He even beat Savage Hulk rather easy once.

Also it has been shown several times that Man Thing can use his empathy powers to instill fear.

He is far from useless IMO.
