Starbrand took on Hulk, Thor, and Hyperion at the same time and was holding his own. If you honestly believe anyone here can repeat that, then something is wrong. Withstood an assault from them (while Hickman called them out as planet busters/destroyers) without a scratch. Starbrand stomps here. We know you hate Starbrand but his fts should not be ignored.
He didn't 'take them on' Carvster. They were holding back because he was a kid. He even admitted he would have lost if it wasn't for Nightmask saving him from them.
We've been through this before. Hickman's Starbrand has done nothing worth mentioning for almost 2 years.

How are Hyperion or Superman gonna be able to even hurt Spectrum? She's much faster than either of them and turns into radiation or light or some other energy form.
They were holding back? Where did you get that from? HE was holding back and no one here would survive a second against the line up he went against and brushed off without damage. Hickman even writes he was going against some World Killers and Breakers. No trans tier could have achieved the showing he did in this fight without damage WHILE HOLDING BACK (not screaming at you).
Starbrand is a monster and is above anyone here. Still would like to see the evidence of him holding back. Even while holding back he broke the Earth.
Sorry Carv, but you're wrong. The instant they stopped holding back they were about to wreck him. Hulk held him helpless and Thor was about to finish it till they were told to stop.
Starbrand admitted to Nightmask that he saved him. The scans are there I just don't feel like hunting them down and reposting them.
Any Trans level character could have easily withstood that assault and actually mounted some kind of offense (see Thanos, Super Nova, Wild One, etc...).
In terms of Heralds -
Blood and Thunder Thor with NO GEM had a better showing vs more impressive people than Hickman's Starbrand!
Silver Surfer has better showings (vs Korvac in Death's Realm and vs T&A).
Starbrand is somewhere between mid herald to high herald, nothing more.

What happened before all of that though? Thor hit him, and he said that it tickled. PLus he didn't even know how to use the Brand. I think that your mouth is going to fly open once the writers flesh the Starbrand out.
Where was it said that they were holding back though? Now, it is said in those scans that Starbrand was holding back. Where do you see a wrecking...he had the advantage the entire fight until the end when he told them to stop because he was explaining what was going on...that he didn't mean to do what he did.
What Thanos showing? Super Nova didn't fight a team of that caliber....not even close.
Lol..the team B&T Thor fought wasn't on that level.
So Silver Surfer can last against the team in the scans like Starbrand did? Make a thread.
Starbrand is easily high trans. Don't see any trans tier tanking Mjlonir or blows from Hulk and Hyperion like Starbrand did. You all better hope Thanos outright massacre Hulk next month. Hell, Nova Prime was able to hurt Thanos and Thor, Hulk, and Hyperion are above Prime.
It's been even longer for Hyperion. What combat feats does he have yet? If two years is what it takes to believe that a character will never peak then I guess Hyperion will never be placed in under the spotlight. I'm thinking that we will see him shine next summer during the 2015 Secret Wars event. The Starbrand is not some Herald level character, and this is something that most people would have known from the jump.
