A sun dipped Superman wouldn't win against Onslaught! Superman is all physical when Onslaught was made from emotion and telekinesis thought! The only way the marvel universe beat him is by Thor being sucked into the telekinetic realm and weakening him internally! Superman is awesome but there are some characters he can't mess with! Onslaught was so powerful that within instant he separated Wolverine antitanium from his body, separated Bruce Banner and the Hulk with one blow and made everyone else look like rag dolls during the whole story!
I don't think he's doing it in one shit, otherwise he wouldn't of brought that thick book with him.

onslaught isn't "winning" a slugfest (even though he utterly CHUMPED juggs and ripped the gem right out of him). not sure what 'winning' the slugfest would do though. he'd likely need to shatter the armor. that of course wouldn't be much of a win....
with full powers i don't see how superman is winning this. again, even if he breaks the armor he doesn't win. what's supes gonna do, knock him out? proof that such a thing is even POSSIBLE from anyone? he has all of young franklin's powers to fall back on, and of course, xavier/nate gray/magneto as well.
so...how exactly does superman win this exactly...?
