As what Galan said on the other thread.
"The Gentry are thought-forms that literally embody various concepts of the story itself."
They embody each evil concept like the any evil mastermind type in DC could be a embodiment of Intellectron.
And the Empty Hand could make clones of the Gentry and more powerful then them as well.
