Surtur with Twilight vs Thanos, Grandmaster, and Darkseid...

Surtur as he was during the Surtur Saga vs Thanos, Grandmaster, and Darkseid (as he was during Hunter/Prey)...

Battle to the Death or KO with no BFR allowed...

Fight takes place right outside the gates of Asgard on the Rainbow Bridge (outside of the range where the Eternal Flame empowers Surtur and restores his strength)...

Does the team have what it takes to keep Surtur away from the Eternal Flame (at which point Surtur becomes significantly beyond this teams strength) and bring him down?

The Eternal Flame cannot be moved or hidden in this conflict...

The thing is, what powers has Surtur ever displayed on panel? It's always punching, slashing with his sword, or shooting fire at people.

Thanos has withstood brutal damage from beings at or beyond Surtur's level : Galactus, Omega, Tyrant, Maker, Odin, etc... Grandmaster has time/space manipulation powers and is a solid high trans/low skyfather. Darkseid, when not jobbing, is an actual universe level power (at least).

All three of them surpass the dullard Surtur in intellect too. I'm sure this team can come up with something to put him down or temp KO him.

Odin fights like an idiot with Surtur. Brawling instead of using his other exotic powers. Powers that Surtur has never demonstrated on panel.

It's like Thor vs the Hulk. Thor has a million tricks up his sleeve, yet gets into a stupid brawlfest because otherwise the fight would be over before it began.

Grandmaster has space/time manipulation powers. What's stopping him from warping Surtur all over the place on the battlefield while Thanos and Darkseid device a plan to end him?
