Has Batman been retconned into always having had (high tech) armor, even when it looked like he was wearing spandex?
If not, has does a retcon exist where he's always had (kevlar body) armor?
I ask because i'm only interested in feats where he's on equal footing with DD, who only wears spandex. So, if it has to be Batman in civvies feats, so be it.
The time DD wore the red/blue armored suit are likewise not what i care about here.
By durability i mean taking hits from both street level and super powered/strong opponents, getting thrown through walls, hit by objects, falling from great heights, things like that. (please log in to view the image)
Tried to be as clear as possible with this, though i'm sure nits can be picked.
It's not clear when he got that suit, actually. Guardian Devil, 1998. Safe to assume that in the "classic" era he was running without it.
It wasn't very durable, anyway... just good enough for purposes like punching through a windscreen without a scratch... unlike most of Batman's suits, that protect him from bullets, blunt force dmg, etc.
Daredevil is more durable, I'd say. It may be close, but Matt has simply more feats in that department when he's not wearing any *significant* armor.
Re: Re: Daredevil Vs Batman who has greater durability
I prefer #dontstopberiving.
Anyways...
Batman has tanked being shoved through concrete floors by a bloodlusted Wonder Woman - whilst he was injured, without his suit, and with a sneak attack AND falling from a good height:
