Even though he's moved on, Bendis's legacy still lives. Laura has had more lows in All New than she's had her whole career lol. They were trying to reestablish Blob as a low-meta team wrecker, so they had to have him smash the only person who could live through it.
And Laura's characterization is totally ****ed at this point.

Physically, no doubt. Blob has bounced Logan and Piotr's faces off the pavement a few times. That said, that is kinda my point. It's common knowledge that fighting Blob head-first isn't the greatest strategy.
Laura trying a bum rush, and getting outsped, is just out of character and stupid. They acknowledge it in the story, since she's supposedly off her game, but it doesn't sit right with me either way. I don't have a problem with him beating the piss out of her per se. If he gets her in a compromising position, he could do that.
How often does Damian use gadgets currently? I feel like only the more gadget-y bat sidekicks could make this competitive. Martial arts should be a temporary measure for when X closes the distance.

Gender: Female Location: Poppin Pills on the Rainbow Bridge
Great scene. I picked it up the other day. I love seeing upstart heroes getting trounced. It takes more than a hf and sma set of claws to make you wolverine. If only Jane got the same treatment all would be right
Look, you need to get used to that. Laura is the Wolverine now... popularity has its price...
I don't like it either, but it is what it is. Kyle and Yost couldn't protect her forever. And it sure doesn't help that Disney cares only about MCU, ruining everything else.
Anyway, was Blob's chance to shine, like you said... after so much time he spent being powerless and forgotten...
Yeah, Damian is not exactly known for gadget spamming at distance, but I wanted to give him a chance here
True, and I'm possibly being harsh. I guess I'm just butthurt that she's turned into a pop-punk version of her self. Character development is good, but this feels like a step backwards. She's supposed to violate social norms because she is oblivious/apathetic to them, not because it's the "cool" thing to do. She acts like some bratty, brash teenager nowadays.
