Never let anyone else define you. Check out my Bendix's thread!! Anyway, I think Mids has a chance if he can KO Fantomex before he can get his misdirection off. Midnighter is faster, plus his battle computer has prevented mid level telepathic attacks getting in his head and The Eminence of Blades lie power, too.

yeah and with the starting distance no way nighter could ko first. doubt he could even if they started closer. fantomex is pretty beastly physically.
this is weird though--the computer would let him know he was being misdirected (or was going to be) but he would still have no counter. even if he...ignored the misdirect, there is still no way he would be able to see/find fantomex before charlie put a bullet in his head. least i don't think there is any way. /shrug
M-Nighter pc hardware in keeps telepaths out. But he has been mind controlled if the hardware gets compromised, as was the case when he got...well mind controlled.
Misdirection would do just that, since it affects computer hardware and organic minds alike. There is no escaping the fact.
Not to mention that, Fantomex has the physical stats to compete with Midnighter.
So yeah. Fantomex takes this match more often than not.

well, physically he's taken on deathlok units and done very well. its hard to define enhanced. guys like bats and dick and dd ALL are miles past what regular humans can do. fantomex is the same way. his 3 brains allow for unpredictable behovious (which would be interesting against nighter). he has a small healing factor and some very good durability feats like surviving being completely gutted by logan and handling thousands of volts due to his special nervous system. physically he's def well above human, but as far above as nighter? doubtful. but still, he is pretty beastly and in straight h2h, with his multiple brains, it wouldn't be easy for midnighter by any stretch.
Well, I've long suspected DCnU Midnighter was being overblown, but I don't really follow him, so I can't say. If it's true that freaking Fantomex can be a tough fight for him physically, Mr. X should whoop Mid's ass tbh.
I just don't know what to make of him. People say he's taking it to heralds, but he's always matched against streets on the forums...
No doubt, but that's nothing to what Midnighter has done. In Stormwatch, Midnighter was on the lab table being operated on with his body scattered throughout the table. And this was for hours. He has a higher tolerance for pain.
