Shiva in a good fight. Unless she some sort of new "nuclear atom destroying dragon chi" moves, this should be fairly even for a while with shiva edging him out more often than not.
Btw, is that shang vs cat art from something new that's coming up or is it just random art that you found?
Both of those happens a long while ago early on in his appearances, like most all of his impressive feats. He's also "good enough" to get one shotted by Taskmaster. Shiva is super elite top 5 in dc h2h, whereas the Cat would have a tough time making my top 25 h2h in Marvel.

During that arc Jason Todd also beat a magically amped Ra's Al Ghul. That Jason Todd would one-shot Cat as well.
New 52 Shiva has beaten Batman, Nightwing, and one shotted Robin. Rebirth Shiva is about to make an appearance against the Bat-Family.
Anyway Cat whole history is stalemating Shang Chi very early on. Shang has significant experience and upgrades since then. Same for his short encounter with Ironfist in which Danny didn't even use the iron fist the first time. However, in the rematch he 3-shotted the Cat.
- Lady Shiva, as a teenager, almost solo'ed the entire League Of Assassins together at the same time (among them, were Bronze Tiger, David Cain, Ra's All ghul, etc);
- Also as a teenager, and while being pregnant, Lady Shiva oneshotted David Cain (one of Batman's early trainers, and Cassandra Cain's father and trainer);
- Sensed the Shadow Dragon getting near her, while he was going invisible, destroyed his armor and then beat him in Hand-to-Hand, the Shadow Dragon who's speed has impressed Superman;
- Humilliated Killer Croc;
- Defeated Katana twice in the same series, and let her live in both (stomped in their first fight but didn't killed her because she said that since katana didn't put up a fight good enough Shiva decided that taking Katana's sword and letting her alive would be worst than killing her, their second fight was more even but Lady Shiva left because Katana was severly injured and Lady Shiva didn't wantted to kill her like that);
- Stallemated Batman on Batman #427 - A Death In the Family Part 2 (in the end, Batman won, due to Robin's help);
- Trained Batman, and help him getting back to his prime condition, who searched for Shiva, after Bane had broken his back;
- Defeated Green Arrow II (Connor Hawke) 1-on-1, after oneshotting Nightwing;
- Defeated Batgirl (Cassandra Cain), twice, on Cassandra's own Batgirl series, although both ocasions have special context (Cass didn't had her Body-Reading on their first fight, and on their second fight Cass wantted to die)...Also in the same series, Lady Shiva held her own, on other 3 fights that she had against Cass, she lost 2, and 1 ended in stallemate, although Lady Shiva was dominating that fight for the most part...Also in the same series, Lady Shiva stomped Mad Dog, (Cassandra Cain's half-brother) who later gave a very hard time to Cass, even killing her, by stabbing her on her chest, though Cass still won the fight, only dying afterwards;
- Defeated and killed Richard Dragon, on Richard Dragon's own series (Richard Dragon);
- Even after being drugged by Red Robin (Tim Drake) Lady Shiva still broke 3 of his ribs, and didn't got touched (she later colapsed due to drugg effects);
- A similar instance ocurred in the Birds Of Prey series, when while being poisoned, Lady Shiva still stomped Cheshire, and only "lost" due to the poison's effects);
- Stomped Catwoman;
- Stomped Huntress;
Etc.
New 52
- Stomped both Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson) together on Nightwing #0 - Perpetual Motion;
I'd genuinely like to know what "amps" shang chi has gotten after his fights with the cat. I can only recall the stark tech bands that he got very recently.
I love how losing to Taskmaster is considered a low end showing. If anything, Taskmaster "should" be uber enough to merc street levelers, and more then that. He could do double time speeds by watching Bruce Lee in fast forward, and has a library of skills from every he's ever fought or studied. He should be walking all over Cap and Logan, frankly...

There's a reason why Tasky is called the Apoc of street levelers.
Apoc should be b*tchslapping the likes of Thanus and Buttseid in a single panel... just as Tasky should be fighting Cap, Logan, IF and Shang at the same time and having them on the ropes...
My list wasn't intended to be exhaustive, just what I remembered. But yeah that is a good feat, especially when Shiva one shotted Black Alice who was channeling the powers of the Cheetah. Also beating Batgirl Babs, Catman, and Strix at the same time, which is simply beyond anything the Cat has done.
The amps has everything to do with his feats and fighting experience. IIRC, Shang Chi has never used chi attacks against the Cat, like he did against Gorgon. Shang has also fought way more impressive people and has way more feats than the Cat has. Like one for instance of blocking a punch from class 60ish Hiroim.
He has matched skills with Elektra and Cap.
The Cat hasn't really done match since a couple of stalemates with Shang Chi early on. He doesn't get to use Shang's feats as his own. He has been rarely used and less than impressive especially against Shiva's record.
