Sun King was able to absorb ALL energy in his vicinity -- even that from the friggin void itself(which is why BFR wouldn't work):

*And SK's ability to absorb energy was pretty damn uninhibited, as he eventually absorbed all the energy of his native universe.

Anyway, SK was only beaten when every single moment of his existence was compressed into a single point in time, and he was simultaneously attacked by a nigh-infinite amount of mages from different eras:

All things considered, I probably would. Frankly, I had forgotten how damn powerful Sun King was until I went back and reread the pertinent issues of Shadowpact.
