IIRC, Supergirl was helping John out, too, and they couldn't even dent it.

Shows how far all-out Superman is compared to even Supergirl [who is one of the most powerful kryptonians]

TMC - The Monthly Crisis #01 (2008).

Basically gave a brief page-by-page breakdown of the main issues of FC to help fill in the gaps for those who were left scratching their heads after the conclusion. I posted all of the pages in the 'FC Discussion Thread' years back -- I'd imagine they're still there.
