Until i specifically see bullets bouncing off him, i'm not ready to call Peter bulletproof.

Characters that are specifically NOT bulletproof get hit by various energy attacks all the time, its the nature of comics.

hmm, i dunno about that scan. seems the beam was more derivative of a force weapon rather than a piercing (bullet-style) weapon. i wasn't sure about quill standard gear though, and if it included some type of body armor. maybe he survived that BECAUSE of the body armor? not sure. it's funny--i've read a lot of gotg, and seen a lot of quill, but i STILL can't quite get a handle on where he sits compared to guys like castle and others in that general tier...

Take a look at some of his durability features. Seems the suit offers some protection. Enough to get an attack in.

This is the guy who took bloodlusted Spidey's hits, point-blank grenades (plural) explosion, Wolverine's claws and more. Quill is a puppy in comparison.

Debatable. Comic Book/Cartoon Beams Damage Ability is a VERY Wonky Science.
