Wasn't Super Adaptoid a sentient Cosmic Cube or something? Or no, that was Kubik. SA copied a Cosmic Cube once though. A little surprised at the lack of debate.
I also don't remember Adaptoid copying the stand in Nova from Annihilation (Who really deserved better then her grisly death, considering she was a likeable original female character. So of COURSE she'd die.)
Do his powers also stack? Strength of Thor and Herc = twice as strong as Thor or Herc?

He was created with a sliver of a cosmic cube inside of him that gave him the ability to copy Kubik(I believe) until the sliver was removed.
It was Phyla.
He can stack them(at one point he was using the combined strength of Thor, Herc, and Goliath) but usually doesn't because his body can only utilize so much power at one time without overloading.

original SA actually did copy all of avengers' powers but was rendered inert when it tried to use all of their powers simultaneously. It was also later on defeated by black widow and crystal, i believe crystal deliver the final blow by frying it. And also recently got defeated by copying deadpool's cancer and dying.
