What's with the massive WW lowballing in this forum?

Pre52 Maxima vs WW would be a nice fight with WW winning due to her later upgrades, which perfectly counter Maxima's powers. Maxima absolutely never matched WW's skill and was slower, weaker + less durable(barring piercing weapons).

Current Maxima is nigh featless and seemed even notably weaker than Supergirl, current WW would just outright stomp her.

Could you plz list the part of Maxima's versatility WW couldn't simply counter?

Pre N52 It would be a close fight with Maxima winning 6/10. Now DC has lowered/Maxima stock while raising WW. Nowdays WW wins at least 7/10

A few versions of Maxima have appeared in the DCnU, but they do not seem to pertain to the original at all.

The first was a lesbian pretender -- very clearly not 'classic' Maxima:

The second version looked a lot more like the Maxima we all know and love, but she was ultimately just the most recent Almeracian female who inherited/usurped the 'Maxima' title from the aforementioned lesbian incarnation. Hence why she made the following statements...

"I am Maxima, you fool! Her title now belongs to me!":
