For instance, Thor is a mass murderer. Doesn’t matter what his reasonings were, he has killed many people by his hands and by his actions. Yet he’s worthy. Why is that?
Is it his strong will believing everything his done was the right choice, or his convictions in himself. If so, why couldn’t the Joker wield the hammer. We know Joker has a strong conviction in himself.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.

Jane became worthy becuz there had to be a "Thor". Also Thor couldnt lift the hammer cuz he started to believe no god is worthy of serving mortals.
At least i think thats what Aaron was trying to convey.
Could be wrong.

True, but without either an explanation or more examples of people succeeding and/or failing to lift Mjolnir. we can't really determine what the new rules are.
That is why I'm sticking to the classic rules.

I think the worthiness comes from whoever is willing to sacrifice everything for a just cause in the face of insurmountable odds that may result in the death of others....or something
