Yeah. More precisely, it was an "Eleka'an event horizon projector". Not sure what an Eleka'an event horizon is exactly, but the weapon was designed to one-shot-kill cosmic beings, so it's pretty badass. Galactus once said he doesn't attack Shi'ar planets; weapons like this are probably the reason why.
