careful, I got lambasted with the "B" word for defending what this guy had to say about Saudi Arabia and Muslims once
though ya, while I would normally choose less outright divisive language, I agree with most of what he says, and also would agree that it is the loss of personal cognitive freedom that stands as the most dangerous part of religion and all other ideology.
I think he needs to sync the videos with his voice
For whatever reason I like this guy over all. The opening is great it's reasonable, it's amusing and it makes a very good point. The rest is oft repeated rhetoric and can't really be applied to "religion", though it does apply to a good number of the sects that are arond and just about all of the vocal ones.
I do like that he seems to not have anything against theists and he's frank enough that it doesn't seem like he's talking down to anyone.

A juvenal prank.
That is what happens to anyone who professes a disbelief in the line by line dogma of the major religions; they're called moraless hypocrits. There's no need to choose a less divisive language, especially when doing so implies no consideration of the much-more divisive language of the religious who employ it. Be careful with that "B", you might end up lying about being attacked at an ATM to support your accusation that the other side is fanatical, far beyond carving a letter into your own face and feigning the fanatacism of the other side; of the people who aren't real Americans because they understand and actually read the governing document of this country. They insight the names of Jefferson and Washington, while ignoring their disapporval of what their party has become and utilized as a means of winning elections. The founding fathers are so biblical that they, just like Jesus, are spinning in their proverbial graves over the behavior of these morally corrupt sodomites who pass off their patriotism, Americanism and moral superiority as some measure of small town America while casting their disdain on the Americans in cities like San Francisco or Washngton or New York or New Orleans or Des Moines. 9/11 happened in every city, but only actually effected New York. The same people that are now saying that the only real America exists in these small pockets of racism and old school values, where women are subject to the intellectual rule of thumb, gays are dragged through the steets until their heads come off and any mention of descent are met with the inablitity to get and hold a job or cries of communist or socialist, have been fed a line that should insult them. If they're so smart and on top of things, then they would be enraged by how far down they've been spoken to by the McCain camp. You folks aren't stupid. You people aren't impressed by this moron that has been forced on you by a campaign that wants you to vote your cock over your intelligence! Fine, go ut and vote for a guy that assumes he's completely qualified because of his stay in the hanoi hilton, but don't for one second be fooled by his window-dressing running mate who sells her ass on the national stage! This woman is a joke, and even you guys have to see through it?
Sorry Inimalist, it started out as a response to your post and then turned into a political condemnation of others.

He clearly wanted a soapbox with which to condemn the republican party. While I sympathize, the numerous misspellings and incorrect usages of words has made me want to disagree, even though I agree with his premise. (That the republicans are hypocrites)
