The White House revealed that pornography was found on bin Laden's hard drive. The same was also true of KSM's hard drive (the mastermind of 9/11) and over 90% of captured terror suspects. What I wonder is how they reconcile this with their faith. These Arabs go to Western countries where they get shitfaced and screw whores, but lo and behold, they won't even stand in the presence of pork (which is equally as un-Islamic as booze and hookers). Alcohol and porn are both banned in Islam, so they indulge in both, and then have the nerve to call themselves holy warriors.
What do you think is really going on here? Do they sincerely believe in their cause but rationalize their porn obsession somehow, or are they just big phonies who like killling people and blowing shit up for the sake of it and all the while hide behind Islam as an excuse?
Also, if they ever achieve world-wide Sharia (which is what the hardcore Islamists state their goal is), then what would happen to the exhalted leaders if their dirty little fetish became known? Would they stick to their guns and willing walk to the gallows? Or would they be two-faced cowards and give some bullshit excuse?
Much like many cult leaders, this guy behind the "Rapture," leaders of those cash-cow mega churches, and other such figures, I think there's an obvious amount of hypocrisy at the highest level. There are a multitude of selfish reasons for pushing such ideological trash on people, regardless of whether or not you yourself practice what you're preaching. Because large swaths of people are easily manipulable, so it doesn't take someone devout to lead them, just someone charismatic.
The devout ones are the followers of these people, sacrificing money or their very lives.
Anyway, religious people rationalize un-religious actions all the time. This is nothing new at any level. If everyone literally thought God was watching you constantly, the world, and religious people in general, would be vastly different.
Bin Laden's an interesting case though, given his position in the terrorist world.
It's a "sin" to look upon another woman with lust. It's also a lesser form of adultery to have relations with an ummarried gal as it's supposed to be a betrayal of the father who did not give you permission to marry her, yet.
It's adultery "in you heart" to even look upon another woman to lust (even more so if you bates) if you, the woman, or both are married (but not to each other, obviously).
It could end there if you did bates without thinking of anyone, right? Well...
The Catholics took that a step further and said, due to the "spilling of the seed" on the floor dude, that masturbation was wrong. Something about killling life or something. It's related to the idea that a man's "seed" is the thing that creates the baby. Since they did not know what an egg or zygote was, they considered it a lesser form of "murder."
This makes me lol.
Islam may have similar rules.
And why would Bin Laden have porn? Could it not have been porn from the other dudes he cohabitated with? It makes more sense that that is the case sense Bin Laden had access to more than one woman for his desires. Certainly a possibility but not a fact.
I also think it's extremely hypocritical of Bin Laden to have porn on his HD as well as the others mentioned. A Holy War being waged against the Western World which is partly justified BECAUSE of our porn...just stupid.
I guess if you don't have the "privileges" of the Western World (like a playstation, toys, etc.) you get bored and think too much. They are "mad and jelly" of our stuff.
Yo, I think I know why after some "scripture" study.
Acts 15 talks about the Apostles having the opportunity to inflict the Jews Laws on gentiles. They didn't. Why? Dunno. (the pork thing)
So non-Jew Christian can eat whatevs as long as it doesn't hurt their body. That means no obesity or anorexia...stuff like that is not in keeping with "your body is a temple" teaching.
Onan was punished because he refused to continue the family line, ie. impregnate his dead brother's wife. He was told to do this, and he disobeyed - regularly.
Rebelling against God is what brought on this smiting.
Also, Onan didn't masturbate. He had sex, then pulled out making sure that the wife doesn't get pregnant, hence spilling the seed.
Bible doesn't speak about masturbation being a sin.

Because, the bible says sex is allowed only within marriage and when you masturbate or watch porn you are "lusting in your heart" for that which isn't your wife.

...Why do you seem to be surprised that these people are total hypocrites? I mean, they "preach" devotion to Allah and Islam, and then they literally don't follow proscriptions found in the first chapter of the Qur'an.
That certainly did not stop the Catholics from including the pulling out and spilling the seed as part of his reasons for the death "smiting".
And THEN repurposing it to include bates.
That was my point, because, among people versed (pun intended) with some of the "rules" in Christianity, just mentioning that should imply everything I've typed about this. In other words, I shouldn't have to type out the entire store but only make a very brief reference to it to bring it to others remembrance. I'm quite sure most people here knew exactly which story I was referring to without me needing to go into detail.
It's not like you need to tell me this as I'm quite aware of the story.
And in my post, you'll clearly see where I indicated where the Christian belief originated. I made reference to it in my above reply.
Well, actually, the first sura is only seven lines:
[1:1] In the name of GOD, The Gracious, The Merciful.
[1:2] Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe.
[1:3] Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
[1:4] Master of the Day of Judgment.
[1:5] You alone do we worship; You alone do we ask for help.
[1:6] Guide us in the right path;
[1:7] The path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers.
^That's really just a prayer and an invocation; nothing that can really be disobeyed there. All the laws, rules and injunctions are laid down in later chapters.
