Ryu Vs Grappler Baki

They both train extremely hard, so, who would win?

yow i had no idea someone knew Grappler Baki .
Well , Hamma Baki trains since he was a child to defeat yujirou , and ryu trains like hell to defeat gouki . Baki style is an all-out style of martial arts , adopting techs from many other styles, ryus style is the ansatsuken , strongest martial arts in capcom universe .Both of them have a cursed blood line, but baki is only 19 years old in the end of the maximum tournament, although he fight all his life , he is still to young to be a real master.Ryu has also way more firepower than baki .

Baki is 17 years old and I think he trains harder then ryu. The guy was willing to kidnap the president of the united states just so he can fight a very strong guy.

when baki entered in the circuit and became champion for the first time of the tokyo arena he was 17 , the maximum tournament that has jack hamma in it was two years later.
Being arrested to fight a strong guy is not what i call work hard, but work desperate.

I disagree, I call it hard work. Baki goes to real extreme's to get stronger. Hell, while in jail the dude was planting iron bars in the desert for miles. He even fought an 100 kilo praying mantis and won.

lets face it , of course baki works hard(i never said he didnt , but he works like a mad guy trying to prove something) , but so does ryu , we cant possibly know who works harder, they train in their own special way.Ryu trains with oro doing some pretty harsh stuff too like staying in horse stance for hour while holding a big rock

Versus jumping of a cliff to test your reflexes?
I'll post a scan if I can.

i saw that episode, it was before fighting the ape wasnt it? i saw that too , it was some radical training to improve reaction time , so???I think ryus classic training is as hars(or even harder) than this one.

Right, but baki was only 13 years old when he did that. I own the manga,But, It's not translated,. I can't speak japanese and I don't understand what they are saying most of the time. Oh and he's seventeen during the maximum tournament, because when he fights retsu Kaioh, the title reads Seventeen years Vs 4000 Years.

in my translated manga tokugawa says : A young champion with only 19 years old and 120lb defeated .... A strange thing that happened in grappler baki was(you will have to agree with me in that) , he seemed to evolve and train better when he was a kid .When he was already a teenager the only training we see him doing in brasil or before the max torunament was punching the bag plus basic training , or fighting some thgs in street fights

Wow, how much of the manga do you have translated and where did you get it?

EDIT: In "Son Of The Ogre" (The newest arc) Baki does some pretty extreme training, like fighting a 100 kilo praying mantis.

emule , the anime in bit torrent. Fighting a giant insect or bears or apes cant be considered a big feat in this kind of battle.Ryu fought guys that could resist lava (urien) , guys who could transform their bodies in weapons (twelve) , guys who could ressurect(gill)

Emule, translate the manga, I already saw the anime seasons. It doesn't reach search of the strongest hero.

Ryu, never fought urien, twelve, or gill.

Ryu never fought gill, urien, or twelve. Alex fought gill, because ryu was disqualified by oro. And baki can use endorphamines by inflicting pain on himself.

Edit: where do you get the manga translated?
