Han Solo Vs Captain Kirk

The ultimate battle between the 2 elderly tough guys. Who would win or would they just spend the contest firing wisecracks at each other?

And I don't think Han ever really used the Force, to my limited knowledge, but obviously the Force guided his destiny a lot. His "luck", as Obi Wan would say.

solo is cool... but in a fight i say kirk...

At least Han is not afraid of getting his hands dirty and fixing the ship, as opposed to Kirk giving more crap for Scotty to do.

First of all... Kirk has on many occasions repaired the enterprise, and that is a far more complicated and advanced ship than the falcon...

Plus, the falcon is a smugglers ship, the enterprise is the flagship of the fleet, it needs a large crew...

Uh, can you name some (not counting Generations)?

Also, even though this is a comparison of two captains, they are in two very different situations (Han more of a pirate and Kirk more of a fleet commander). A more appropriate comparison would be Ackbar vs. Kirk.

in the original series there were several episodes where he climbed up into the conduits and fixed the ship...

obviously he wouldnt do it as much was han would do with the falcon, but the enterprise is more advanced than the falcon, and it isnt even kirks job to keep the ship running, its scotty's...

heres a sample...

all captains in star trek have basic engineering knowledge... its part of their training...

and as for kirks fighting ability, i said already he beat kahn, who was superhuman...

That was one thing I would have liked to have seen in ST:TWOK, was the planned fight (face-to-face fistcuffs) between Kirk and Kahn, if the budget had been big enough....
