Nah, Sidious' political power ensured that Yoda couldn't defeat him, and Yoda can certainly take down Krayt. Sidious should have this in the bag by virtue of being the most politically powerful Sith ever.
And since Sidious is so good at politics, he'll find a way to circumvent your restriction against his use of politics.
