Kratos got all his weapon from god of war 3 in this fight.

On one hand, Amon's displayed some serious range with his sludgifying abilities. He turned a large chunk of Japan into slush with his mere presence. On the other, Zenon didn't suffer from that and Kratos does have resistance to transmutation so I guess you can make the argument that Kratos wouldn't immediately become a gelatinous mound of flesh.

Amon's tough as hell though, he easily tanked nukes that evaporated away a large part of the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to its floor.
